Assuming an individual does not do anything it can take a couple of years to create immunity to HPV virus. If somebody takes the author's recommendations, it takes only a few months to create immunity to human papilloma virus. The longer somebody has HPV virus, the more likely it could trigger damage. Therefore it is best to generate immunity so as to remove HPV as quickly as possible.
