There are four types of tree squirrels in The golden state (omitting the little nocturnal flying squirrel, which is not considered an insect). Of the 4 varieties, two are native and also two are introduced from the eastern component of the United States. In their all-natural habitats they eat a variety of foods, including a vast array of seeds such as want acorns and also nuts, fungis, bugs, bird eggs, and young birds.
