Today, the marketplace offers two types of sensing units: CMOS and CCD. Nevertheless, when we discuss megapixel video cameras, it should be kept in mind that 95% of the cameras have a CMOS sensing unit, while only 5% 1-2 megapixel video cameras operate on the basis of a CCD sensor. This is due to the high expense of a CCD sensor for video cameras over 2 Mpix (about three times) and also it relates to WDR.WDR is a criterion that identifies exactly how well you can compare the dark and light areas of an image concurrently. What does this suggest? If you can see either outside or inside at the degree of the dynamic series of 70-80 dB, at the level of 120-130 dB you will certainly see completely both outside as well as inside. It is the IP video cameras with a series of above 100 dB that are marked by the specification of WDR.Another parameter of an IP cam that I want to pay special attention to is its framework price. And also here we have to face the truth that at the highest resolution (as the initial criterion by which you select an IP cam) it will report a lower framework rate.Throughout our job experience, we have actually made use of a a great deal of IP cameras as well as we have eventually chosen the video cameras by Hikvision Firm-- a maker offerring the largest range of cameras with criteria that fulfill all the above stated criteria.
