A lot of cases of indigestion are brief as well as don't need medical care. See your physician if you have signs and symptoms of gastritis for a week or longer. Tell your physician if your stomach pain happens after taking prescription or non-prescription drugs, particularly pain killers or other pain relievers. Gastritis may take place unexpectedly (intense gastritis), or show up gradually over time (chronic gastritis).
